We are now looking for an Integration and Commissioning Engineer to join our growing Engineering and Development team in Tampere. In this role, you will help bring advanced battery and electrification systems into operation together with our engineering team and customers.
What you'll be doing
As an Integration and Commissioning Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering team, production, customers and partners to ensure successful implementation of our products and systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Prototype assembly, system integration, testing and commissioning of battery and electrification systems
· Troubleshooting, root cause analysis and technical support during development and customer projects
· Collaboration with customers and partners to ensure smooth delivery and integration of new solutions
This is a hands-on engineering role where practical problem-solving skills are highly valued. Your work will take place primarily in our development and testing environments, with occasional opportunities to support integration, commissioning and troubleshooting activities at customer sites.
What we are looking for
We will provide training on our products and technologies, but we especially value candidates who bring hands-on technical experience, a strong personal interest in engineering or electronics and a practical mindset. Interest and experience gained through hobbies or personal projects related to electrification, vehicles, electronics or automation are considered a strong advantage.
To succeed in this role, you are:
· Proactive, self-driven and comfortable taking ownership of your work
· Comfortable troubleshooting and solving technical challenges in a fast-paced engineering environment
· Organized, flexible and motivated by seeing solutions move from concept to real-world operation
Skills and experience appreciated
We value experience in:
· Hands-on installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of complex electrical, electronic or mechatronic systems
· Mobile machinery, industrial equipment or other customer-focused system delivery environments
· Communication protocols, automation technologies and electrification-related systems such as CAN, PLCs, high-voltage or battery systems
Additional experience in power electronics, embedded systems, verification & validation and / or functional safety is considered a huge advantage.
Fluency in English and / or Finnish is required.
The role includes occasional travel, so willingness and ability to travel internationally is expected.
